Director

Phil is an urban designer and chartered town planner with 25 years’ experience of delivering development for multi-national consultants ranging from engineers URS-ScottWilson to architects Broadway Malyan. He remains passionate about his work and is well versed in taking designs from concept to construction on site. He has been a Built Environment Expert for the Design Council/CABE since 2003. Recently Phil has been helping The London Borough of Enfield with the place-making aspects of delivering a 10,000 home development in the Lea Valley called Meridian Water.
Phil’s background in both local government and the private sector is well balanced - he has sat on each side of the table, representing developers at public inquiries to secure permissions for new developments, or representing the local authority regulating such developments.
Phil now enjoys delivering projects for investors directly, applying his background as a consultant.

Jo is a successful architect who cut her teeth designing high end riverside apartments in London for the likes of Berkeley Homes, one of Britain’s most successful house-builders. Jo has 18 years’ experience, five of which were spent in a hard hat overseeing the quality of construction of 1000 homes at Battersea Reach – the quality of homes is so high that a one-bed apartment sells today for £750k.
Prior to starting the company with her partner Phil, Jo worked for two of London’s most successful architecture firms, Sheppard Robson and Broadway Malyan. Today she gets her kicks from see smiling clients and happy home-buyers, who love her sophisticated and economical designs.

Bianca Rotariu

Bianca joined the team as an executive assistant supporting both directors and naturally progressed into an excellent property manager. Bianca is a natural when it comes to people and property management - she runs her own Airbnb business and has been a Superhost for over 5 years! Her lightheartedness, positivity and professionalism make her a vital part of the team.
Bianca graduated in 2013 with a BA in Fashion Marketing from Coventry University and has since worked in the wellness, fashion and beauty sectors in various support roles.
Unable to leave fashion behind completely, Bianca also runs an online business promoting and selling designer pre-loved items.

CRICKLEWOOD NORTHWEST LONDON

Pre-application for 150 flats
​
Preparing a planning application to carry out a development can be expensive. To minimise risks and costs we provide a pre-application service to obtain council advice early on, to give the scheme the best chance of being granted a planning permission. Obtained and incorporated into the scheme, pre-application advice for the Cricklewood development helped achieve planning permission for 150 flats and the decision was made significantly faster. Our client saved time and money.
BECKETT'S MEADOW, BRAINTREE, ESSEX
£1m net profit on planning uplift achieved in 6 months

Here we designed a scheme of low density housing for an edge-of-town site, won on the strength of its nature conservation and public amenity value, not the mix of two to five bedroom homes. The overall landscape management proposals were commended. Our client had bought the site from BT 6 months earlier, and sold it in 4 weeks to a developer, taking £1m in net profit.
LUTON CONVERSION

£0.4m GDV, 7-bed multi-let, all works completed within 6 weeks and on budget,
25% property value uplift (after refurbishment), £3.8k pcm rental income

For this renovation we had to go through various compliance measures to make sure our work followed stringent industry standards. We completed renovation on budget and 6 weeks after exchange of contracts. All units have been occupied within a week from completion by air-stewards. It’s a great example of our commitment to delivering quality development projects and seeing them through from start to finish despite complications in order to ensure full client satisfaction.
